The year 2025 has begun. Thank you for your continued support this year!
We hope you will take a look at this month's activity report.
December Activity Report
01 About the EV business
We inspected several potential locations for the EV assembly plant. We will finalize the candidate locations by examining the conditions, such as a location with good access from the slum area of Agbogbloshie, which will be the base of operations, and a location far from the slum area but where we can aim to acquire land under favorable conditions.
In addition, our local Ghanaian engineers, who had been training in the Philippines for a long period of time, have finally returned home. We were reunited with the engineers who had safely returned home after five months of training. They have now grown to become some of the leading EV engineers in Ghana. We will continue to work on the project in order to quickly put into practice the technology they brought back with them.
02About the recycling business
In December, we invited three Japanese business leaders active in Japan and around the world to introduce traditional Japanese techniques and products to our Ghanaian staff.
The participants are Mr. Hishida, the president of Hishida Construction, a world-renowned architect; Mr. Harada, the president of Harada Plastering, a company that leads Japan's top class plastering craftsmen; and Mr. Mabuchi, the president of Fuji Slate, which boasts the top market share among roofing tiles manufacturers in Japan. We have asked Fuji Slate to manufacture our sustainable building material "MAGO BLOCK III."
During the technical introduction, President Hishida actually demonstrated the charred cedar construction method, and President Harada demonstrated plastering in front of us. It was very impressive to see the Ghanaian members' eyes sparkling while they were doing the training. We were able to deepen our exchanges with the Ghanaian members through traditional Japanese techniques. I am very excited to learn various techniques and see how they can be applied to our business in the future.
03 About Agriculture
We visited a local farm in Ghana. The farmland there continues to expand every year, and this time we were able to see a small moringa plant that had been planted on the new farmland. The agricultural leader made a strong comment, saying, "We will continue to expand the farmland and increase production volume next year (2025)!"
After the Moringa plantation, we also visited a coffee plantation. As we were walking through the coffee fields, one of our members exclaimed, "Ah!", and when we looked in the direction of the other member, we saw coffee beans for the first time!
It's just two beans. It took almost three years to get to this point. From these two beans, we can feel the path we have traveled. We expect to be able to harvest in two or three years. We will continue to move forward, step by step.
We are currently working on producing moringa powder from the moringa harvested in 2024, with the aim of commercializing products other than moringa tea. We are currently finishing up moringa cookies to be sold at an exhibition to be held at Meitetsu Department Store in March. We hope you will look forward to the finished product.
Moringa tea is also available online. Please give it a try.

The "MAGO Football tournament 2024" was held to decide the strongest football team in Agbogbloshie. The first match was between the academy team (children's team), followed by the adult tournament. After a fierce battle, the team run by MAGO won the championship!
