The Moon Tower Project Executive Committee (Representative/Producer/Artist: Nagasaka Mago, Vice Representative/Co-Producer: Hashizume Shinya *Establishment in preparation) has announced the launch of the "Moon Tower Project 2025-2030," a long-term art project that will transcend borders and serve as a guidepost for world peace through the large-scale art monument, the "Moon Tower."
In the spring of 2025, the "Moon Tower" unveiled in Shodoshima in 2022 will be displayed for a limited time next to the EXPO'70s Pavilion in Osaka Expo Commemoration Park. As a further development, a new work expressing the circulation of natural energy is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition (hereinafter "GREEN×EXPO 2027") to be held in Yokohama (it has been decided to exhibit flowers and greenery).
Starting with activities aimed at realizing the project in Osaka and Yokohama, the Moon Tower Project Executive Committee aims to create a virtuous cycle of economy, culture, and the environment across borders by uniting citizens and companies, and to become a symbol that leads to the achievement of the globally shared "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)" by 2030.
