Artworks by artist Shingo Nagasaka, who continues to create art using waste electronic equipment dumped by developed countries including Japan, will be exhibited and sold at the Ginza main store.
During the exhibition, new works from Nagasaka's signature "Lake of Truth" series will be on display. Nagasaka's strong message is contained in this work, which depicts the people of the slums living amongst the garbage produced by developed countries. In addition to this, we will be introducing a number of other works, including new ones, such as "Plastic Boy," in which the figure wearing a gas mask in the center speaks of the harsh conditions of the slums. Nagasaka will also be visiting the store on the following dates to hold a talk show.
